16th Annual Duck Splash Race!
Join us on Sunday, June 2 at 12:00 p.m. for the 16th annual Duck Splash. Watch hundreds of numbered rubber ducks drop from the Route 123 bridge on the Occoquan River and "race" to a pre-determined finish line. "Adopt" a numbered rubber duck for $5 and if your duck finishes in the top 10 you will win a cash prize according to the following schedule:
1st Place - $500
2nd Place - $100
3rd Place - $100
4th Place - $100
5th Place - $100
6th Place - $20
7th Place - $20
8th Place - $20
9th Place - $20
10th Place - $20
It's great family fun and is easily viewed from the Occoquan town dock. Net proceeds will benefit the 501(c)(3) organization, Patriots for Disabled Divers (PFDD), which uses scuba as a therapeutic tool for wounded warriors. Tickets will be on sale the day of the event if available, but in the past we have sold out, so get your tickets here online below. (If you purchase online your receipt will read "Occoquan Transportation Co., LLC" or "OTC" and you will receive an email within approximately 48 hours providing you with the numbers of the ducks you adopted).
